Please advise! I have gotten 246 for PSLE with a merit in hmt, so my total score is 248. I'm a girl and live in Jurong West. Any recommended school?
You can consider Bukit Panjang Govt School, Nan Hua, School of Science & Technology.
Thank You! Do you think singapore chinese girl's school or Nan Hua is better?
SCGS. It has an SBGE programme which is rather interesting. -

Definitely Ms Tay's DS will get his 1st choice. The rest are there \"for display\" only :rotflmao:
:rotflmao: :rotflmao: i heard that there is a student wanted to get into a particular school badly and put the 6 choices all the same school :siao:
I am sure he will get into his dream school. :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:polkadots:

SCGS is out of reach for your dd given her T-score.DD got 247. Trying to appeal to scgs. But agonizing over the 2nd choice cause wthat will prob be a more confirm place. Nan hua or bukit panjang govt ?
DD prefer Nan Hua cause the classrooms are air conditioned, their CCA. I like bpgh because it s like only 1/2 hour from where we stay compared to Nan hua that will prob takes 1 hour including walking (15mins). Am concern with the Chinese environment cause dd is not really strong in her Chinese but she said she s ready for this challenge and think that it will help to improve and maybe stir her interest in the language.
But putting the 2 on the table , which school is a better choice cause their cop are the same ?
Any one can help ? -

They do but must be prepared to wait.
Thought I read somewhere that Bibi + Baba can tailor make for u, just pay $4 extra per set.Mvm:
Their return policy is within two weeks and in original packing.
If you are really small built, I would recommend that you go buy rgs uniform early, as when my dd bought previously, the smallest size couldn't fit her and we had to send for alterations.
I think with 265 rgs should be a sure in! Congrats! -

Thanks for the suggestions. Do you think can try for St. Hilda? Any others?
Can also consider Hai Sing Catholic School, St Hilda (a little higher COP 229), Pasir Ris Secondary. -
Mvm:
Anyone knows why not the full range of 3rd lang is offered to some pupils? My ds has only, Msp, Arabic and Indonesian under the choices offered. None from the 03 category.
French/German/Japanese are only offered to those in the top 10% of the population. -
Ms tay:
Must have confused the MOE computer. :rotflmao: Cannot compute, cannot compute....[
Hi there..I'm new here but I hope you all can help. My son scored 226 for his psle. What schools would you recommend? We're staying near the east coast. Would really appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks.
Hello :rahrah:
Maybe St.Patrick? :imcool:
You can also look at your child school search book. That thick one with all the schools :)))))

Hi, looking for some advise.
My daughter score is 246.
Her ideal school is cedar, but went for the open house today and heard from the teacher there that the cut-off is 248.
Should i still put that as first choice ?
What’s the chances like ?
Thanks. -
