Hi Guys

Anyone knows the COP for CHS this year? My friend who is appealing for CHS says the COP this year is 248 (idk)

If its so, guess I just passed the COP by a few decimal points :X I got exactly 248 and got admitted into CHS (YAY)

For RGS some of the kp's posted that the school called them or SMS.
Why did RI take a different stand in announcing the results,either they can send by email like NUSH or call /SMS. How many will check letter box daily ?[/quote]
Believe that letters are for the unsuccessful ones who had appeal. Just letter of appreciation in showing interest in their school.

DS appealed to NJC and got successful.


For the benefit of all Appeal cases, here is the info:

Admission mode : MOE S1
Admitted School by S1 :Victoria IP
PSLE Score : 257
NJC call : By telephone on 27th evening
Is NJC first choice in S1? : No. Second choice.
Registration : Went to NJC today, 28th. Collected transfer letter. Went to VS. A friendly admin lady helped to process the letter, got sign from VP. Asked me to write my contact details. Seen from paper that already 6 to 7 transferred from VS. Went back to NJC. Registered and got admission info package. Seen another 2 parents with their boys for the appeal admission.

Went back to home. Tired...? Yes. Happy...? Very much.

Today my DS friend went to RI , Admin was not able to confirm the appeal results date.

Outside the admin office , all the successful intake list was displayed in the notice board . Total admitted 425.

When I was in VS, the admin lady attended 2 phone calls answering for appeal cases in VS. Heard that the VS Appeals committee finalised and shortlisted the appeals and informing them. Those who are shortlisted will be called. BTW in VS the S1 Orientation starts from 8:30 AM tmr.

Think the school reserves the 25 places for Discretionary Admission after S1 posting.
