Just called my DD, she just stepped out of the school on her way home. She said quiet OK. What abt the other parents? How was the papers?

I think conclusion is easy then.... SD for a* will be higher then.

Super easy paper. DS had more than 1 hour for checking. Many of his classmates are confident of scoring full marks.

DS said very easy. But he lost 1 mark for careless mistake. Many of his classmates are confident of scoring full marks.

Any feedback from DS or DD on paper A???

yr posting reminds me of last year.....
think i was the first to talk abt the Maths Paper 1 in this forum
when my gal called bk during the break that it wasn't that easy even for Paper 1, (never had she said that b4)
which made me worried for the Paper 2......... and true enuff 😉

Yes, last year's Math paper was traumatic. So many tears during and after the paper, and so many parents complaining after.[/quote]Parents have to learn to accept that examination is about distinquishing the best from the better. Otherwise, how to select the best students for the elite schools if too many obtain the same level of score?

Parents should learn to relax. Your child still got many years to go to strive to be the best. My younger daughter was top in her level for Science in the Prelim. exam but did not even get an A* in the PSLE. Disappointed? Yes but life went on. Went to Cedar and now in Temasek JC doing her A liao. Stressss lor. 🙏

Such is life. What is important is to encourage your child's tenacity to have the 'Never Give Up' attitude in whatever things they seek to achieve in life. Of course, pls also teach them to be socially responsble person too.

                      :celebrate: :celebrate: :celebrate:

As predicted, the Math paper was easy. Which is great for above average students, but not great for those who excel in Math because there’s not much to separate the brilliant from the very good.
