Recently I received the feedback from my daughter's English teacher in school. She had big improvement in her vocabulary. I've never been this happy! She always carries her vocabulary book from The Learning Lab with her to note down the new words and phrases and she reads from the book anytime and anywhere. My girl just joined The Learning Lab (TLL) P4 English. It amazes me that the size of the class is good enough for the children to get enough attention from their teacher. Library is my daughter's favorite place to study and read books. Good thing that The Learning Lab has a very nice library in every branch and they have a wide variety of books!
As for me, compared to other ordinary tuition centers, TLL English may not be related to things they are learning from school but it's a good opportunity to learn something new that is outside their text books. I'm sure they will benefit from it more in the future. :imanangel: -

Oh yes, my DD1 had been with TLL Eng till P6 and I must say TLL Eng is really good in boosting her vocabulary!Recently I received the feedback from my daughter's English teacher in school. She is now in sec 1 (IP) and I am thinking whether I should let her rejoin TLL Eng or find a cheaper alternative.
Just yesterday, my P6 DD2 got back her English diagnostic composition and she scored 2nd highest in class (36/40) and her classmate who topped (37/40) also happens to be in the same TLL English class as DD2.
However, the same can’t be said for my DD1 as I don’t think her Eng compo is as good, perhaps, because she doesn’t read as much as DD2.
