My niece has been with Marymount Kinder for the last 2yrs and so far my sis is very satisfied with the school. I didn't put my gal there cos I needed a CC. So I sent my gal to Shaws at Braddel Heights (Lynwood Grove). There is no subsidy for kindergartens, only for Childcare centre. $300 for full time working mum and $150 for part time working mums. Pls check with MCYS website for full details.

Yup, I too had called Shaws - Braddel Heights earlier this year and got rejected outright, no vacancies for golden pig babies. You are very lucky to have gotten a place for your gal!

Hi eileen,

My boy will be nursery afternoon session! Strange because morning long queue and difficult to get leh! Anyway I am OK with this because I think 8am too early for us to send him. Also I intend to put him to do Chinese enrichment in the morning before kindy so the timing is OK. I just hope he doesn't feel too hot, sticky and tired going for the noon lessons!

If you really want the afternoon session, why not tell the admin. lady I am sure lots of parents will be willing to swap with you?

i ask her liao she said dun had places :? ya i also think too early for her couse i still had 2 girl in p1 and p2 next yr in morning session so i had to send them dan after that dan her....... i want there last thurs mmk she at frist sad no places dan i tell her can try to help mi she said ok.....dan yesterday just recived their call ....i also want pm session if really got ppl can change with mi.....but irelly dun know she said full in pm session

Hi eileen,

Yes I am going there this Friday to clarify with them too. Their Chinese Enrichment is for K1-K2 only (which will then be too late to start for my boy). I want to ask exactly whether they will do for Nursery level too? If their answer is confirmed NO, then I will put my son to do Berries.

Berries classes will be from 9.30 am to 11.15 am then go MMK for kindy. Berries is just once a week so should be OK!

This Friday perhaps you can ask other parents anybody want to swap AM/PM sessions with you? If you found one really want morning, then perhaps can go tell the admin. lady together...

Or alternative will you consider putting your kid into school bus? I intend to arrange for school bus for my kid because for 2nd session, impossible for me and hubby to send since we are already at work!

Hubby and I will be attending the orientation on Friday.

My daughter will be in Nursery afternoon session next year.
