Wow that is a whooping 17 years! Actually my first fridge also mitsubishi then I have to give away cos I have a fridge built in at new place. I think the fridge is still functioning in its new owner's home... about 15 years too? It didn't dawn on me until you wrote the years down for yours.

Yes, that's the kind of faith I have in Jap brands, :celebrate: those really made in Japan, of course! šŸ˜‰

My old fridge, a Mitshibishi lasted from 1992 to 2009. Bought yet another Mitshibishi from Goh Ah Bee.

Have 100% trust in Jap brands. šŸ˜‰
25hourmaid, how about other Jap electronics or only the fridge is good? Btw, ur pineapple tarts looks so yummy

I basically trust all Jap brands, provided they are really from Japan that is.

:thankyou: for your compliments. Can help yourself to some e-tarts if you want! šŸ˜‰

My current one also Mits... I too love this brand in fridges šŸ˜‰

Yes, totally agree on that. It's Mitsubishi fridge for me and nothing else, though recently I had to settle for a Hitachi one for my mum due to the space created by the contractors when they built the cabinets. Would have preferred a Mits, but unfortunately, could not find one with dimensions that could fit into the space. šŸ˜ž

Heard of ACMA before, so goes to show how \"young\" this Maid is! Used to have ACMA fridges when I was a little girl! šŸ˜›

But the ACMA nowadays is nowhere near the the ACMA of olden days. šŸ˜ž It used to last and last and last ..... like forever those days! šŸ˜Ž

How to compare with the breadmachine thread? :? This thread has only 5 or 6 pages so far, compared to the breadmachine thread, 46 pages so far.
