Sorry ladies....I have not bought knives since after my wedding so dunno market knives and price. My Henckels are with me since the day I got wedded....and that is more than 10 years ago..

Yes, the brand is Kai. $13 from Taka. I was looking at Henckel, saw the price ($69 or $100+) and decided a cheaper alternative would do. :lol: It's very sharp and slices well.

Told my hubby about banana bread and his eyes lit up. Now to see if I can find over-ripe bananas tomorrow.
