Yeah, the bread is too heavy due to the whipping cream that I use. Had to add more water, butter and yeast. Maybe 3/4 teaspoon of instant yeast would be better. Will try again tomorrow morning πŸ˜„

Looks good. So you substituted the whipping cream for the butter? How did you know you had to add more water, butter and yeast? And when did you add them?

I substitute half of water with Whipping Cream Milk.

I had to add more water and butter since the dough was quite stiff. And adding yeast the bread is heavier due to the Whipping Cream.

Let me make another one tomorrow and share with you all the change I made to the recipe from Z.

Had to go to sleep now, school day tomorrow and had to send the kids to school :faint:

        Nite everybody and thank you......

    Most important, it tastes great ya! Schweppes, you haven't bought the knife too?

No, haven't bought the knife yet. No time to go down to Taka. This weekend rushing around to buy CNY clothes for dds.

But the choc bread tastes great - if I might say so myself :dancing:

                :celebrate: :celebrate:
Come to think of it, I haven't done my CNY shopping yet too! Maybe will look around when I'm at Taka tomorrow. πŸ˜‰

The Kai brand that jtoh mentioned is sold in Taka. Alternatively, you can go Ikea to buy, or any PH shops. πŸ˜‰ I am just taking the opportunity to shop as well! πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰
