Thank you dear.. yes 1 each weekendautumnbronze:
LKVM,
Just saw the pix of your banana cake and raisin bread.
They look really good
You've been busy baking

since nothing else to do :celebrate:
I have yet to try my wholemeal loaf. I need to think of interesting bread to bake for my daughter. She seems to have gotten bored with the few varieties that I baked.

Happy Mama, drop by the library when you have time, then zap those recipes which you think are worth trying, been there, done that! -
LKVM:
why dont you try cheese cake
I tried baking cheese cake using the oven. It came out flat!
Reason because I didn't buy a good mixer and it couldn't beat so well. My friends paid almost S$1000 for their mixer which I wasn't willing to invest in. See, even my cheap mixer has become a white elephant for almost 2 years.

Ok thanks 25hourmaid. Will either drop by library, or maybe can try searching online too...

Chances are it is not the mixer, maybe brand of cheese, other ingredients, recipe etc. I don't have a $1K mixer, just a normal $50 Philips Mixer and I baked a very rich and sinful cheese cake the other day, so don't blame the mixer. -

Really? Huh... then it's a consolation to me. I thought I won't be able to bake nice cakes without a good mixer...
I think I used Philadelphia cheese. Can't remember and I think I have also misplaced my baking book. Anyway, I just bought another new baking book few weeks ago, so maybe I should try baking cakes after CNY.

So try in the breadmaker then maybe it comes out in better shape

Huh? how to bake cheese cake in a breadmaker? You mean dump all the ingredients in the pan like other cake recipes? Have you tried? -

Yeah, online is also another method, don't even have to leave the house, but problem with online is that you must have a rough idea of what you are searching for, whereas for library books, you can flip the whole book and zap online those that appeal to you. -

Ya, that's true... anyway, thanks I'll try both if I have the time. -

Ya, wholemeal's a little tricky... but autumnbronze's 2nd wholemeal loaf looked really yummy! :drool:Happy Mama:
