Why not make your own? It's very easy, then you can start Happy Mama Talk to challenge Bread Talk!

I only know how to bread using bread maker. How to make sweet buns with the machine? I'm too lazy to manually knead dough and let it rest to rise.

No, don't have to knead manually! First, get a sweet bun recipe, then use the dough feature on your bread machine. Let the machine do the work. :dancing:

For me, I do one extra step when I make sweet buns.

Would use the \"sweet\" function first, and when the machine beeps, press \"stop\" and reset\" and then continue with the \"dough\" feature. The extra kneading gives you very soft buns.

For pork floss, spread mayo over the hot buns as they come out from the oven. Then throw pork floss over it. The mayo acts as a gel, but there's no mayo taste at all. :celebrate:

Hi village girl, there are a few brands around, viz Panasonic, Kenwood and Zojirushi... But most of us here use Zojirushi. It's a very cute machine, but if you've got a very large family, you may want to consider other brands that come with larger sized pan for 700g or 1kg bread. I think Z machine only makes 500g bread, which can be sliced into 8-9 slices of bread. πŸ˜‰

By the way, we have a bread thread in this forum. You may want to browse there.

Thanks Maid. :hugs: I'll check out my machine tomorrow. Cannot remember if I have the sweet function or not.

I think it's around $398 from Tangs. Not sure if the price has increased since we last bought. Alternatively, you may want to try Parisilk. The price there is definitely cheaper than shopping centers. πŸ˜‰

You definitely have the \"sweet\" function, otherwise, how did you bake your raisin/cranberry bread? :scratchhead: I am sure you threw in the dried fruits at the sound of the beep using the \"sweet\" function, right? πŸ˜‰

Ehhhh, for the Z machine, I just needed to press the start button and 30 minutes later, there will be a beep sound for me to open the lid and add in the raisins... nothing to do with the sweet function, if any... :scratchhead:
