@Flowermonster, hi, u can click on the link ... the blogger provides the recipe and method in detail; however if u need translation (the blog is in chinese), let me know. πŸ˜‰

Hi L-earner, been to the blog but don't understand the measurement leh. Normally for Zmachine we use cup but the recipe shown I don't know what is that in, ml?

Here are the ingredients for u, Flowermonaster:
      Bread flour 300 g
      sugar 30 g
      salt 1 / 2 tsp
      yeast 3 / 4 tsp
      milk 198 g
      butter 20 g of salt
Thanks to L-earner for sharing. Going to get busy tonight..[/quote]Hey L-earner & Just888, I tried baking it today & the result is great! The bread is really soft in the inside & crunchy on the outside! Yummy!

@Flowermonaster, wow congrats! post pic ...

I baked Hokkadio Milk Bread just now, following Florence's recipe (http://wlteef.blogspot.com/2007/06/hokkaido-milk-loaf.html), here'r the pics :

        http://i43.tinypic.com/35izqcw.jpg\"> http://i39.tinypic.com/1z2zhaq.jpg\"> http://i41.tinypic.com/25qz060.jpg\"> http://i40.tinypic.com/5mffqw.jpg\">

Bread is soft n fluffy, smells good too! i made some minor modifications :
        (1) i used whole egg (abt 52g) instead of 40g of egg white.
        (2) i reduced the milk by 10g (original 100ml, so mine is 90ml)
        (3) reduced sugar to 30g.

              Hi,

Potential breadmakers may like to know that the Z Machine is on sale at OG at $328! I wish I had bought it at the earlier sale though...it was only $200++ then...sigh...
              Thanks!

Try Parisilk at Holland Village. Call them for a quote, it might be cheaper. πŸ˜„

I bake this before in the beginning of the year, but I dump all things into the bread machine...just lazy me. My family love the Hokkido Milk Loaf too.
