Happy Mama:
Wonder how was autumn's date with her hubby tonight

Ha ha, it was good!
Finally had some time to talk without DS bugging for daddie's attention. Usually DH comes back home late. If he is early, DS will 'dominate' him and also insists that Daddie put him to sleep. I am happy that father and son bond really well. But it leaves us little or no time to REALLY talk and catch up. So I proposed date nite every week or so lah ... hopefully, it will work out.
Also managed to recee the bread makers at Best Denki also
Thanks for asking :celebrate: -
Happy Mama:
Wondering if she managed to persuade her DH to get the breadmaker... Hehehehehe!!!

He's ok about it. As long as I can justify.
On one condition though .... he insists that I must use the Tefal steamer bought more than 3 years ago as it has not been open as yet :!:
I had bought it after delivering DS hoping to lose weight by eating steamed food. But in the end, I did manage to lose it thru breastfeeding, so it became a white elephant

Had a look at both this weekend. Personally I think Zoji is more compact and therefore more space saving. I thot that the functions are more user friendly too

For those considering getting the Zoji breadmachine, I did a price comparison and so far, Goh Ah Bee is selling the cheapest.
Goh Ah Bee $295 (this is based on ksiβs purchase)
Tangs $318 (original price $429)
Mega Discount Store $359
Best $399
Prices above are quoted as at 16 Jan 2011. -

I decided to. Because like Maid, my weekend with my dinosaur breadmachine was an adventure and a disaster!! :!: :stupid:
Ahhhh, so you went to recee too
On Sat, decided to take out the ole' breadmachine (abt 10 years old). Did everything according to instructions and was very pleased to see that the machine was working fine. At first.
After 1hr into the breadbaking, I left home to do grocery shopping. And then, shortly after, received frantic phone calls from my girls to say that there was a power outage at home :stupid: Fortunately, I had read about Maid's experience earlier and figure that it must have been my dinosaur machine giving probs. I think it was at the baking stage that caused the power failure thereafter
It has gone KAPUT!!!
