Ah, no wonder! Didn't sneeze but my ears were itchy!

Hey dried papayas! Never thought of it! Where can we buy dried papayas?
Haha, sorry for making your ears twitch! πŸ˜›

Yes, never seen dried papaya before, so decided to buy one packet to try when I spotted it at a tidbits shop in Hougang Central this afternoon. Did check if they have dried jackfruit, but sorry, no luck! 😞

And it does not help that Grandpa Sky is very angry now, showing black face! 😒

Thanks Maid, never seen this before... Will be interesting to try papaya bread, but not sure how it will taste... maybe can try Papaya Milk bread..

Augmum, the other time you were mentioning in one of the threads about boiling papaya soup for your DD. Do you want to try to bake this for your DD?

Haha, think your papaya loaf is going to be very expensive if you want to count on this small packet of dried papaya for your loaf. Each packet weighs only 40g and cost $1.20 each, so don't know how many packets you will need to make them visible in one loaf! 😐

In fact, they have dried guava too, but I figured that it won't be that nice since my opinion of dried guava is that it would be too dry as a snack. I mean the fruit itself if already quite dry, what more about the dried version? 😐

Over here, Grandpa Sky is not only unhappy and angry, but already crying, not sure how long he is going to cry! 😒 There goes my plan of going out for dinner! 😒

Yes will at least need 3 or 4 packets, I think, just like Dried Mangoes.

I think guava loaf may taste weird since its hard, dry and in between salty and sweet. Ew, cannot imagine it being baked into loaves.

Yes, the dried papaya is a better option if you are adventurous enough to try and also provided you can find it near your place, but I very much doubt you would be able to find it anywhere at where you are located, unless you want me to buy a few packets for you and mail it to your? :imcool:
