      Hi all

My girl is learning grade 1 in a private school.
School requires twice a week lessons if take exam.
Not so keen on exam as i want her to enjoy the ballet rather than go exams.Only a few students out of 11 students opt out of exam.
Does this mean she might not follow through in grade 2?school still allows those who didnt take exam to promote to next level.

      For advice. Tks.

          Hi, need some advise here.

Does all CC ballet classes have RAD exams? Is the RAD exam held in the CC itself?

Kid is currently in the ballet and music company. The exams and coaching fees are so expensive. Thinking to withdraw after preprimary exam.

Should not have signed up for it. Sigh.

          Thanks in advance

Yes, CCs do have exams and exams are held in the premises.

She will still be able to continue with grade 2 even without doing exams. Exams are for certification and students who take them tend to be more motivated in ballet, that’s the whole point of taking them.

Yes, that is extremely reasonable and way below the market rate. Usually around 350 onwards for a term.

Yan Ballet is marketed as a competition studio with elite training programmes. Depends on what you want for your kid, recreational or more serious type of ballet training. Some kids do well in competitive atmosphere, others prefer more relaxed and fun.
