Understands that from next year 2009 there would be New Principal taking charge the Primary Schools.

Any idea where can we find the profile of these new Principals?

Bukit Panjang Pri School is changing new principal.

The new principal is from Fernvale (?). Can’t recall…

You may want to view the following website for appointment of new principals in certain schools in 2009.

            http://www.moe.gov.sg/media/press/2008/10/ministry-of-education-appoints.php

            Hope it helps 🙂

Besides going to the website of each primary school, is there a place where I can find out which primary schools have Browines?

              Thanks.

                Hi,

You can refer to http://app.sis.moe.gov.sg/schinfo/SIS_index.asp. It is stated under 'Uniformed Groups' after you selected your choice of Primary School from the list.

Hi thanks, but that means basically I still need to go to each sch (only now it’s not to each sch’s website but consolidated under MOE’s website) to find out if that sch has Brownies.

I am in this situation where I choose the sch first, then choose flat. There are so many primary schools in Singapore I don’t know where to start, so I thought I would start by looking at which sch has Brownies 🙂

                    Hi MerlionInGermany,

You can actually go to the http://app.sis.moe.gov.sg/schinfo/SIS_AdvSearch.asp, Checked the check box for \"CCA Offered\" and select Brownies for uniform group. That will allow you to see all schools offering Brownies

Title: ANY SUGGESTION & ADVICE IS VERY MUCH NEEDED! REGISTRATN

                        hi hi everyone.

my girl’s registering this yr. i was staying in east. was supposed to move to northwest parent’s place. plans changed. now i am renting in east.

my famiy has a investment ppty (not ready yet) under hubby’s name within 2km frm scgs. was meant to make money cos mkt not gd now, cant sell. so if really want to, can use the contract to get into scgs. but happened to hear many stories. some frm family doc, some frm ex-scgs girls. mainly are stories abt snobs, class-sensitived (how rich u re)…

my girl is more creative, inclinced towards ballet dancing (thank God she is still into it), dancing, music. Hubby & i want her to excel in character devt, EQ, ability to speak up, sociable. She is rather sensitive & easy hurt. am concerned environment may be unkind to her. we re not super rich guys. so, dont her to feel inferior if get into such sch.

i ve a son to register in 2012. i can go thru hassle again.

now, i wont even dream of nyps. no chance.

only cards are my hubby is HKHK.only thing is not sure if girl will be gd there. taonan maybe no chance, kwong hua? anyone has any suggestions pls?

btw my girl’s teacher used to put her son in aitong. she says such schs are as gd. cos when her son’s results drop slightly, the teacher called and told her to do something abt it.

she said such sch expect parents to send kids to tuition ctrs. when it shld be the jobs of the teachers. not the parents.

if to hkhk shld be 2b. if scgs phase 2c…

how ah… my parents and inlaws all in the west. so moving there is no prob. my current place near siglap/east coast allows me to move just giving 1mth notice.

hair dropping… pls help me! thank you mommies & daddies!
