No worries, concern_mum - we are all here to learn from one another :grphug:

Yes, I do find it is challenging to coach my DD1 with Science but am telling myself must give her the full support for this period till the end of the SA2! 😓 😓

So, concern_mum let's :rahrah: :rahrah: together!

thanks, Grandmaster, the problem is this is the first time i am getting myself involve in their science subject to cover so many topics for my P3 an P5 boys may be a challange.

to coach P3 and P5 boys at the same time for SA2?
        :faint:
do you still have a copy of their past work? their weaklink is MCQ? or section B? zoom in their mistakes first and correct their answering techniques, firm up the foundations.
IMO, not productive to work at past year papers given the short time frame if the foundation is shaky.

          hi Jdeamum

i don’t have any more copy for their past work, i was thinking since next week is PSLE marking day, i will let them try the past year paper from CA1 onwards and guide from there. Is it possible?

            concern_mum,
not sure about the P5 boy, but for P3, focus on the the recent topics then revised backwards to CA1 topics.
choose a few papers and work in detail instead of trying to cramp so many papers into that 4 days.
if your concern is to improve grade and not so much on scoring, (and also depending on whether your kid is in top schools or neighbourhood schools) avoid tough papers from NYPS and RGS and PHPPS.
            JMHO. good luck.

              Hi everyone,

I just started my son on this ‘My Pals Are Here’ Process Skills worksheets…courtesy of my neighbour. There are only OE questions…easy to get confused with Janet Sim’s worksheets bcos they look identical.

Find that the comprehensive notes contain in-depth information and most important, with keywords highlighted.

The Popular Sales staff said that it only has the Lower Block for now and as for the Upper Block, will probably be end of this month or next month 😉

                    Hi champion,
I have sufficient reference books. Cannot buy anymore...going to drown under the number of all the guide books put together. In fact, I have not succeeded getting son to read the FAQ yet
Getting my son to revise P5 science topics these few days and also doing past year papers. The 'My Pals' science process skills is good form of revision...especially the questions on hypothesis and process.

Hi Mummy SAHM_TAN & Mummy Janet,

Wanted to hold my \"temptation\" till the 20% Discount at year end but I can't resist putting the book down after standing there reading for about 10 minutes 😉

Have done with the label tacking on all the topics so am now into reading it while DD1 is doing the past year exam papers 😉 Me this slow \"absorption of knowledge\" mummy has to catch up with more readings 😆

You must be kidding...'slow absorption of knowledge' ? I think you can sit for Science exam and get A*.
