      Hi plum-cake/champion,

For your kids in P3/4 next year, I believe they can finish the collection of science assessment. Reason is bcos they need to revise from scratch constantly. As and when, i take out topics like diversity, energy and life cycles of animals for son to do some recall work. Life cycle at p5 is an add-on to p4.

          Hi cherinelee,
Which level is your child in ?
It does take some time to pick up Science answering skills, esp the OE section. My son took almost the whole year in P3 to learn that 😢 it got a little better in P4, partially bcos he has an interest in it.
More exposure and practice should help. However, Science is a subject to learn concepts and application...cannot be treated as a story book.

            Hi Champion/Plum-cake,

I am presently going through this assessment handed down by my friend.
It’s ‘Science Practice P5 and 6’ by Winnie Peh.
Saw the P3/4 version out at Big Bookshop. Maybe you would like to check out the lower block one day.

                Just a quick update:
Have used the first book 'Lower block 3 in 1' to revise with my ds2 for his coming SA2. I found that most of the questions are testing the kids on the basic concept and not much of application.

Have also used the second book 'Thematic Science'. Think it is better book than the first in terms of the difficulty of the questions.

                JMHO.

I don't have a good feel for Casco and Fairfield Science.

THAT'S the one...for lower block, the letters are in green. Can't find it in Popular website as well. Saw it at Big Bookshop in Clementi. Happened to be there to check out Ace publications.
Don't bother to visit Big at Harbour Front...they don't carry this publisher.
