I was contemplating whether should I get ALL the 5 theme under M.C. Science Process skills? [Diversity, Cycle, Energy, Interactions and Systems] :scratchhead:
      http://i40.tinypic.com/12479me.jpg\">

The normal Activity book is insufficient

For me, the L-O-N-G queue at Popular will stop me from buying. HaHaHa.
Tell you what, I'll go through the MC Science Process Skills to let you know whether it's worth getting. Don't get it yet ok ?
      C-O-N-T-R-O-L. :rotflmao:[/quote] :hi5: :hugs: Mummy Janet; :thankyou:

      Will C-O-N-T-R-O-L. πŸ˜‰

When you have only 1 kid studying in pri sch, all attention is on that 1 kid and you will find you have more time for the kid. When there are 2 kids, you need to divide your attention and time, even for marking assessment and papers. When both of them are in the same morning session, afternoon time will have to be divided amongst the 2, in addition to all the fetching and sending to and fro from sch and tuition.

Comparatively, the younger kid will always be on a lower priority compared with the elder kid, receiving less attention and coaching from parents unless the elder kid is extremely independent and can handle all sch work.
Hi, I agree. I have only one kiddo and my 100% attention is on her but not more time lor. cos I didn send her for tutions but she is having enrichment classes. she reaches home abt 5.15 most of the days. And she feels too tired, exhausted to focus on studies. my dd is a slow learner too. so I have to do more questions with her to pick up some techniques.

For my younger one, I don't understand why time seems to pass so much faster when she is in the morn session..compared to my son who was in afternoon from P1-2. We could do much more then, and have lesser assessment books to clear in Nov/Dec. Now I'm staring at the leftovers and don't know where and how to squeeze these in 😒
You can do it for cl,english but no point of doing that for math. straight away start the p2 one.

Ok, will continue to work on P1 leftovers for EL/CL as much as possible.
As for P2, will start on that. Thanks for your advice.

                Hi Champion,

Nov/Dec will be spent going through intensive MCQ. It is impt that he gets full marks for this section.

Neighbour’s son told me 60/60 is possible and I believe it can be done too.

                  Hi Janet,
Did spring-cleaning over the long weekend' so tired πŸ˜‰

Put all those Science top school papers in a file and also went thru DD1's Science Assessment books. Most of the MCQs she has done ( guess for her this is easier as compares with the Section B πŸ˜‰ )...Now I am :xedfingers: πŸ™ that I will not get \"heart-attack\" these 2 days where she will have her papers return πŸ˜“

                    Hi Janet!
Does ur son take short notes? From my experience we forgot some important points.
Eg: Why plant grow towards the sunlight?
My son said plant need sunlight.
Then checked the answer,Plant living thing and responds to changes.

                    Another qn
Why paper use for making kitchen towel. My son said first three ,but the third property is not useful for wiping. Now I forgot what is the property mentioned in the third option.

That time I realised that need to note all these points in a note book.

We draw concept/mind maps. I asked my son to draw but his one is not clear. So I planned to draw map.I already draw for diversity and cycles in small notebook.I feel is not enough.can't write all.Now I bought a big paper.I want to draw and mark all points there. I marked the exceptions such as fish that give birth- guppies, mammals that lay eggs-playtipus and spiny ant eater.
                    JMHO...

this one i also still confuse.
the workbook seems to suggest Plant are living thing and responds to changes, but during one of the sch worksheet exercise, ans states that plants need sunlight, therefore it grow towards the source of sunlight streaming through the hole on the box. 🀷

I can't do major spring clean till my son finishes PSLE...dump all books in his room in the meantime and bear with it.

All the Science past year papers are in a file...answers are all filled in. Next year P6 more files :faint: ...so need space now. I don't think you will suffer any heart attack...not with your dedication and hardwork. Even your hubby and daughter can take pics of assessment book when they go to Popular...and you're at home. :salute: Mine will only walk to Challenger.
