But :lightrod: when I saw that thin few sheets of papers (think 20 sheets) passed to me, I almost :faint: ..Look thru the worksheets and tell DH,\" Ok, I think those assessment books at home are much detailed than these stack of ...... :? :? \" :scratchhead:

Are these by Teacher's Production? They are quite good quality but doesn't cover everything of course, more on process skills. Quite a number of schools use them.

Don't think so it is by Teacher's Production; should be a compilation by the school itself.

By the way, where can I get thiS Teacher's Production? Which school using it? :thankyou:[/quote]They are self-published by an ex-teacher including the illustrations inside (hence may look like self-made). Are you sure it's compiled by the school? I know MGS, Henry Park, Ghim Moh, Xingnan etc used them before.

This is the first year that I see that student needs to purchase school past year Science papers 🀷 it costs $5.70 only but just feel why needs to purchase? And only Science, how about other subjects :? :scratchhead:

          Good morning Champ :hi5: ,

Is this past year paper from your DD school or including other schools?

WCW, did you ask the stuff for help?

I observed that subjects on English, Chinese and Maths are easy to locate in Popular, but science, sometimes need a bit of searching.

hehe πŸ˜‰ didnt, as the Science section is only a small area, so cant find n didnt ask. guess i need to show them ur post πŸ™‚

Same here. Went to popular to take a look. Could not find. Just came back.

Science companion and 3 in 1 science by Janet Sim - both are the boxed items. Did anybody comapred the both? My friend bought 3 in 1 by Janet Sim. She said that it is very good. But I already have Janet Sim's FAQ. Will it cover the most of the things in 3 in 1. Or is it better to buy 3 in 1 as well?

To be frank, bought quite a number of books. BUt did not touch anything yet as far as science is concerned. Hope my DD would do without complaints. Need to start soon. :xedfingers:

                  Hello Mummy HAPPYH :hugs:
Are you referring to the above 2 pics that I attached? πŸ˜„

Ok, previously I do have the Science Companion by Renee Chong but could not remember did I give it away or it is still sleeping in one corner in the house :? :scratchhead:

It depends what are the contents you are looking for in both the guide books. You can use it as a reference to refer to or have your child to read it for understanding purpose.

For Janet Sim's FAQ - it is very useful nearing exam time for practice as this book contains all the frequently asked questions in the exam.

No worries, for Science - you will be able to gauge what you need as your child progress during the school term.

Above is just my humble opinion and I have to reiterate AGAIN πŸ˜‰ - I am in no way related to any of the authors nor the publishers; all above are just my own experience πŸ˜„

Thank you Champion. Yes, the two books you attached are correct. I have Renee Chong and FAQ by Janet Sim. But don't have 3 in 1. Just did not want to miss out anything. That is why I asked for opinion between those two. Thank you again for your feedback. :salute:

My hubby also told me yesterday that I should stop buying for a while and concentrate to do whatever I already bought.

I frequent Pop IMM because I know where the 'Science' assessment book is placed. This is why I don't go to other outlets if I need to do some serious shopping for assessment...frustrating if I am not used to the layout and time is wasted searching instead :frustrated:
