Science Guide Books

Science Booster by Casco is a little difficult in my opinion.Totally lost touch of Science and the topics they are covering right now.
Recently been spending time at Popular looking at the Science guidebooks and find that Science Booster Notes for lower primary by CASCO seems like a good book to start with to familiarize myself with the syllabus....
I prefer either Ultimate Science (EPH) or 'Primary 3/4 Science Partner: A Complete Guide To Lower Block Science 3/4' by Angeline Tan.
Science at P3/4 is under 'lower block' which comprises of 5 topics:
Diversity, Systems, Cycles, Interactions and Energy. -

Hi,Dear parents
I am looking for good Science guidebooks (not assessment books) for myself to read up so as to prepare myself to teach my DS when he is P3 next yr.
Totally lost touch of Science and the topics they are covering right now.

Experienced mummies - care to share your views?
Or any other recommendations?..
Thanks in advance!!!!!!! :rahrah:
Read the textbooks to find out what covers in each topic and then read Lower Block Frequently Asked Questions by Janet Sim EPH to find out the questions that may be tested. -

Hi iLoveChubby,
I used to check out latest assessment books a great deal when hubby worked from home...but not so frequent now. Really scared of buying books now.
Not a master of assessment books lah...just an abnormal interest in them. :rotflmao: -

It must be a virus infection....because I also have the same symptoms..Hi iLoveChubby,

plum-cake:
This abnormal 'virus' is extremely contagious too...Speaking of that, I saw a NEW title...best part is, I cannot remember the title nor author's name at all. There is lower and upper block.

Hi Mummies,
That abnormal virus has got me...literally hit me to the point I have to avoid Popular for the next 6 months (at least) :dowan:
My daughter is in P2...her school teachers have already sent out letters for remedial even before CA1. That means 2 days of staying back.
I have this crazy fetish for Science assessment books...never seems enough. Fortunately my son loves this subject. We managed to get by w/out tuition for this subject since P3 bcos of his interest and willingness to practise. -

Good Morning Mychildren
Can share your sentiment about seeing Assessment Books untouched or completed partially especially towards the end of the year
But, no worries for Science Assessment Books as you need to keep and use them till PSLE :imcool:
Told my DD1, \"Those that done or not done or yet to be done
, there still ample time for you  \" After hearing that, she :siam: and walked away!
