It must be a virus infection....because I also have the same symptoms..Hi iLoveChubby,
...just an abnormal interest in them. :rotflmao: -
plum-cake:
This abnormal 'virus' is extremely contagious too...Speaking of that, I saw a NEW title...best part is, I cannot remember the title nor author's name at all. There is lower and upper block.

Hi Mummies,
That abnormal virus has got me...literally hit me to the point I have to avoid Popular for the next 6 months (at least) :dowan:
My daughter is in P2...her school teachers have already sent out letters for remedial even before CA1. That means 2 days of staying back.
I have this crazy fetish for Science assessment books...never seems enough. Fortunately my son loves this subject. We managed to get by w/out tuition for this subject since P3 bcos of his interest and willingness to practise. -

Good Morning Mychildren
Can share your sentiment about seeing Assessment Books untouched or completed partially especially towards the end of the year
But, no worries for Science Assessment Books as you need to keep and use them till PSLE :imcool:
Told my DD1, \"Those that done or not done or yet to be done
, there still ample time for you  \" After hearing that, she :siam: and walked away!

I too could not resist buying if I see the assessment books. So I stopped going popular side. I told myself just wait for june 20% offer. Hope I can sustain.

Science assessment books never enough bcos any topic not done can still be used as revision at P6. I asked my son to revise topics like 'magnets' or 'diversity' when he was in P5 last year. In fact, during the year end hols (Nov/Dec), we did practise quite a lot of lower block topics before school reopened...it was a good thing we did so.Mychildren:

Janet,
Your DD p2 already got remedial lesson, I thought these only starts in p3. Yes, Science still can be use up till p6.
Champion,
Hi, some of the books not finished by the elder one will be passed to the younger one as their age gap is only one year difference. Some like Booster is like white elephant, not touch after finding it not useful in terms of preparing for tests or exams. Others like teachers@work process skills, answers are too long, don't think they are suitable to be use for my kids at this moment. This is my own personal views, others may find them useful.

Happyh,
For me, sometimes its hard to control to buy if I find the books are really good and useful.
I just hope that the authors and publishers don't just print out books for the sake of getting $$ but are responsible for what they have written or published.
If not, we parents need to spend a lot of time scanning through. Further, if answers provided are not accurate or correct, will mislead the students in answering the questions in the wrong way and inputting the wrong concepts in their mind. :frustrated:
