Gosh, this thread is moving so fast.... :siam:

:thankyou: to Mychildren, janet, mychampion etc etc mummies for your sharing.... truly truly appreciate lots!!....
I was quite \"relaxed\" in my kids' progress due to my work last 1-2 yrs and when i realised my DS scored so badly for his tests last yr, i got a shock :yikes: because i always thot he is ok in sch..
That was then i started to be more attentive in their work, reading up KSP forum for ideas and opinions...
THIS is better than Facebook, anytime. :imcool:

                  G Tan,

Not u alone. Me too especially reading those under preparing PSLE forum. You can feel the anxiety there even though my child is not taking PSLE yet.

So sometimes, I need to get away to other lighter topics. But I learn how to choose and get good books from KSP. Really thank all the parents for the advice. One thing to mention, do read pslemum2011's advice. What she has written are good! :xedfingers:(Cannot find any thumbs up so use this)

I agree on PSLEmum 2011, but i tink i just cant simply follow her way of doing cos if i really follow, me and my DD will be super stress. I just do wat i m happy with now will do

Me, too. Cannot follow exactly what she had done. I have 3 kids, so not much time for each. Sometimes, they do have supplementary lessons and when they reach home, still has school homework.

So some days, I just let them do their own things after that. Their own time like watching cartoons, playing with their toys or accessing microsoft works to do some artwork of their own.
Too much of doing work will kill. They also need to relax and play besides studies.

I do feel stressed reading some of the posts here...in fact at one stage, I avoided reading academic stuff...then when I felt calmer, I returned to reading a little. With son in P6 this year, I really feel sucked into a big dark hole...not knowing what to expect as months go past and nearer to June and then the REAL thing in Aug :frustrated: :imdrowning:
