my pals is shorter version than ultimate. i find it a good summarized guide when time is tight.

I have this one. Quite good. But we rarely refer to this now since my DD gets a very comprehensive notes from her enrichment centre. I compared the notes with ultimate science, my pals and fairfield guides and her enrichment does the good job. I like the experiments bit in fairfield guide which I will ask my DD to read during her free time.

PS: Too many guides - initially I spent a lot of time in comparing each and every line in all 3 guides as I worried I may miss some details. But never bothering now (partly bcos not much time) and completely depending on the enrichment centre notes as it covers all the questions from Top school papers.

I also have EPH booster notes but collecting dust. Check carefully before buying more and more guides.
