Actually the unused ones don't have to sold off, yet. From P3 to P6, the child needs constant revision. P3 SA1 will be testing what was taught earlier. P4 SA2 will test everything taught. Let's not forget P5 too. Only when your child finishes PSLE, then you can sell off or hand down uncompleted books to younger kids.

Ya that is the consoling part for Science. Thank you.

No worries...I mean it. When my son was in P5 last year, I asked HOD what will be tested for CA1. He said everything taught from P3.
Thank you Janet. I really appreciate your comments.

Yup.. it's true that everything tested from P3 content onwards. But if you don't sell and may not use.. plus might end up buying new publications.. by the time wanna sell off, it may already age a few years and juicy new ones pop up in our favourite bookstore. Might be a lil' outdated by then to sell at good price tho haven't opening ceremony. So, selling them early can recycle the $ to go for new ones when the itch comes again when eating snake at IMM. πŸ˜‚

HAPPYH.. u have younger kiddies to benefit from your \"collection\"? πŸ˜‰

Yes buds, I need to spend more time with her if I want to finish all/most of them. These few days she was doing quite well. I asked her to take a break today. Hidden expectation - she will do better tomorrow (after one day break) πŸ˜„

We bought a couple of science guidebooks from Popular that had more detailed explanations than the textbooks. I couldn’t believe those textbooks when I saw them: so many nice pictures, so little text! I think they are by Star.

The guidebooks are the opposite: more text than pictures. My daughter brought one of them to school and the teacher and her classmates were amazed by it. The teacher even wanted to borrow it!
