...The centre director (owner) tied up my boy's hands, legs and mouth and push the head on the cushion on the floor because he being naughty only...

 That's definitely very bad. Did you see it happen yourself, or to other kids? But let's wait till the outcome of the investigation before we form any conclusions about this.

I never see by myself, but when I went there ard 6.30 to fetch them, my boy was sleeping on the chair and when i woke him up, his voice was hoarse can feel that after crying for more than half an hour. and at the same time my girl (P2 student) who is there too told me the whole exact story..where the director and the wife only stand behind me never bother to apologize or explain why they did like that.

I hope the center director will be severely punished for the act.

Even if the child is naughty, they should not punished kid like that.
        This is really crazy.
yah, i agreed. my kid only active, not a hyperactive boy and the director's mother in law who claimed to be a doctor told me that the child like my boy should be sedated.. I felt shocked to hear that.. very disappointed with them. 😢

hi mickeyminnie, i am sorry to hear about your boy.

i can understand that as a working mom, we would like our children to be in a safe and nice environment before and after school. my girl is currently at this studient care called ‘care corner’ at block 719. We were on the waiting list and thought that we don’t have a chance but somewhere in Dec, they called to offer us a place. the reason i choose this place was cos it is just beside the school and it is not located in a bomb shelter. then one day, i was talking to my mom who told me that her friend’s child is in the same student care and it is a very good one. the teachers are patient but strict. fyi, it is a christian organisation.

before getting the place at care corner, i have registered with the student care at kinderland woodlands mart. i thought it was the next best choice after Care Corner.

Dear mickeyminnie, as this is now an open police case, it will not help if you discuss it in an open forum. I recommend that you do so only after there is a proper resolution that permits you to talk about your side of the story. In the meantime, you can use private messages to discuss with members of the community if you need advice.

Hi, so sad to hear abt such kids abuse cases..
did you relate the whole issue to MCYS? MCYS will look into renewing of childcare licence upon expiring.
Luckily, my kid's childcare principal & teachers are not like them...

How can such people who have no love be in the education industry?

I hope things can be done to stop these actions of theirs! Who knows how many poor children have ‘suffered’ in their hands but have no courage to tell their parents.

Have you tried Pro-Teach Student Care? They have several branches in SG. Their Admiralty Branch is at Blk 710. They are very academic focused. You can give them a try.

hi, chief. Since my boy have not any injury and although we lodge police report, I didn't intend to discuss here. My intention only to let other parents know that this place not well recomended. That's all. Btw, thank you for the reminder, I appreciated it. 🙂

Just for experience, for those who wanted to look for student care or child care. It is better to look for government base that MYCS could take action if anything go wrong. This is just for safe guard. We didn't intend to pursue the matter since my boy was fine and no any injury. Good luck for everyone.. 🙏
