      Hi everyone,

I am thinking of enrolling my 7 year old DS for S&D classes at JG.

Only problem is I cannot seem to decipher the difference between their EduDrama programme and their Stage Lights programme. Can someone who is well-versed in this aspect or have prior experience kindly enlighten me please?

Also how would any of you rate S&D classes at JG vis a vis other centres likes Lorna Winston, Helen O Grady's, Centre Stage Act 3 International, et cetera?

Sorry for the tonne of questions - just trying to to make a more informed choice 🙂

Looking forward to your valuable insights.
Not so sure about their edudrama classes but stage lights is all about performance. They put up a public performance every term. Next one is on 12 nov at forum basement at 12 noon. You can go see what the stage lights children have learnt.

          Hi,

Any feedback on the JG Chinese edudrama class? Thinking of sending my son who loves to perform at home to the class.

Guess I’ll revive the thread with my post. My experience with the Julia Gabriel Playnest programme is awesome and it encouraged my LOto be really curious, open to communication and developed a love for music and listening to stories. I used to be a student in JG in the 90s and was often drawn to the Playnest class with many happy children. It is adult-accompanied. My mum attends some classes with my LO on days that I’m unavailable to go. Weekday classes are cheaper and less crowded. The teachers engage children with their hearts and children love them. I liked that the art & craft and sensory play sessions are well documented. You might be surprised to see your LO’s artwork featured in the school, along with the older children’s’ works.
