      That's y yesterday I was in a dilemma.. Dont know if I am pushing too hard or my expectation too high.. But is it so difficult not to be careless??? :frustrated: Haiz..........
      If it's careless mistake, can try giving her similar piece of work to practise or engage her in activities that will build her concentration level.

      When practising speed reading / wave reading. There's a tendency to read too fast. For certain situation like reading instruction or certain work, you might want to tell you DD to read at normal speed.

          Careless not as bad as dun know lah ... Last time in sch I also like tat always got careless mistake so I can understand.
          I get :frustrated: when I explain 3 or 4 times already n DD still dun know how to do.

          actually I can accept don know more than careless leh.. If don know still can teach.. If careless har hard to correct... Every time must remind la, threaten la scold la.. :rant:

          But mine is not those type dun know ,explain ,then got it, bingo.
          My DD is like -explain 3 times then
          Me ' do u understand?'
          DD nod head
          me' can u do the next qn on your own'
          DD shake head
          Explain another 3 times
          The whole cycle repeat another 3 times until I give up n :frustrated:

          Like tat u still can take it :?

            If after numerous explanation, still can't understand, check with her which part she didn't understand. If she cannot explain, then you might want to apprach it in a different manner or just leave it for another day.

            For kids, they need to literally sleep on it to let the brain organise information. Sometimes it might be wks before they will show to you that they understood.

                  Sometimes DD got this auto screen saving mode especially when we doing work for more than 10 mins. she is like totally switch off :stupid: :slapshead:

                    Like tat u still can take it :?[/quote]Er.. Never happen in my case.. Because my tolerance level is only to explain 3 times. If I have to say for the 4th times, then DD will kan na.. I also apply this to work.. In my office, I don't repeat or explain for the 4th time.

                        Er.. My explanation is flawless one lor.. (perfectionist ma) but I agree must leave it for one day cos next day will have miracle and DD will know how to do and then careless mistake will start to kick in... :frustrated:
