your elder dd is in Kong Hwa is it? I read from somewhere else long ago.
can share why dd2 is not going there?
i am facing similar situation here (ds2 may not be going to same sch as ds1) and want to be sure Dh is making the right decision.
will there be a lot of logistics problems? will they be not as close as they should? will they compare their schools and fight about whose is better?
maybe i have too many concerns, but i kind of am those type who like to pre-empt problems... -

As for closeness, don't think if they are in different school will mean they are not close.. and in the same school means they are closer.. vice versa.. bonding can also be done at home..
As for comparison.. more importantly ae the parents, as long they don't compare... the kids should not feel the pressure..
I, too like to pre-empt things.. but there are things that you have to move ahead without thinking too much.. that's life..
Discuss with your dh.. on all your concern.. before a decision is make... as both need to agree .. since this is an important one that will affect the path of your kid's formal education.. -

ok, i don't think we will compare. maybe relatives will, but i think on the home front should be ok.
i discuss with Dh many times already. he feels my concerns are valid but thinks they are not very consequential, all will be ok and everything can be solved easily. he also feels pros much more than cons, school being nearer and new and all that.
we are going with his decision for sure already, just doing all my \"pre-empting\"
