Hi SAHM Tan, if the intensive book for all levels or only for PSLE?Gin:
If you are worried about tricky questions, get the Intensive Maths Drills Workbook from Popular. More than enough exercises (with increasing levels of difficulty) that your children can practise and they will do very well. Just make sure that they keep practising drawing Models even for the simple word problems. I do this with my students and they do very, very well in their Math exams.
Faithfully and patiently get your children to do the Models and you will see that they will do well. The problem with most parents teaching their own kids is that their children get away with not drawing the Models and as long as the answers are correct. Then, when they get to P2, P3 and further, they end up having difficulty do the more complicated word problems. Believe me. I see this all the time.
Thanks for the tip. Is it true that there are some questions in the PSLE that using the model method will not be able to calculate the answers? TIA
By which publisher? title of the book? -
im guilty again…nt sure of my dd’s exact weight since my mum took my weighing scale for weighing her luggage…lol
but shez quite petite in her childcare class. can eat quite a lot but still slim. i mean like a girl her size being able to finish 3/4 of a macdonald meal, including fries and drinks. my hubby told me that she managed this feat when she was only 3+ gg 4yrs old. nw about the same too.
if she gets to eat fruits after dinner and u serve her a full plate (foodcourt size) of her fave, she can gobble down another 3/4 plate… goodness~~ there were quite a number of times i was left with only bits and pieces to munch… lol -
How to compile the statistic?
Are we able to? :? -

Not really leh. Diff apps for iPad n more expensive than iPhone lor. Must get the hd one.
Sorrie har... i'm quite blur on this, how to share paid apps? I bought some apps subscription for my iphone but dunno how to 'copy'them to ipad2....Castle House:
But I prefer the apps on Ipad2 :please:
Master Kiss...
If you have a iphone.. the plan actualy can be shared.. just need to buy the ipad2 can le..
Not worth to ugrade.. as you will be paying the subscription monthly.. whereas buy an ipad2.. is a one time investment..
BTW my no 3 is also a 2005 kid, attending gor gors' school next year. Too bad it is still practising double session, very cumbersome for transport ...
All the posts about enrichments are making quite worried, as my boy is only attending music and Taekwondo lessons, and maybe going to re-start abacus trainings. Already have no time to send this youngest kiddo for anymore classes cos I'm too time-challenged with work and the older two...

This is what I do.
1. I place my older kids in the same centres at approx. same timing.
2. I review their enrichment progs at intervals, if timing too tight, I will cancel the least important ones.
Most of all relax, it's easy to sign up too many enrichment/tuition progs for the kids, just need to review and decide what the kids need to have. It's like shopping, separate the need from the want items.
I know this is not easy but there's no need to be kancheong becos of our sharing. As each child is different, parents also have different reasons for sending their kids for such progs. Just focus on your child's need and everything will be fine.
Sorry to sound so preachy.
