Ran out of ideas trying to manage school topics for my 9 year old and frustrated with some of the life skills being taught at my son's school ie. none. I get the impression that the only thing they expect is that he behaves like a robot (follows all instructions, logical or otherwise 100 %) and score well in his exams..


Stumbled on this forum, still browsing though the pages and with luck, I get get some guidance from the in house 'guru's and forumers.

Exams over for DD! Went out for dinner n desert to celebrate.

Happy too with some of her results. Eng paper 2 (46/48)and CL2 paper 2 (38/45). Now just hoping she has done as well for the rest of her papers. Math and HCL especially.

Amazing! Results out but mine still having exams till next Tuesday. How come HPPS is slow??

Thanks. Just glad that the exams are over. Whatever DD’s results we will deal with it as it comes in. Happy that so far those results that she got back were pretty ok. However, knowing DD, she can be pretty eratic. So still waiting for the rest of the marks to see how she really did.


DD’s exam ended early cos the school started pretty early oso, started 26th April.
