Haiz, exams starting this week and DD is down with a pretty bad cold. Poor girl.

And I caught her bug as well.

Rub Vicks on her chest, drink only warm water, shower quickly, apply talcum powder to close up pores after shower, take western med only at night, use only fan…hmmm…what else…

              Thank you Peapot.

Giving her Vit C twice instead of once. No meds in the day only at night. She has been sipping on a lot of hot water to help clear the nose congestion. Put her back on her nasal spray as well. And of course Manuka honey to sooth the throat. Using a humidifier with eucalyptus and peppermint oils to help with her breathing for better sleep at night. She seems much better today but still going to the docs to get some meds on standby.

garlic capsule quite good to combat cold flu, i usually try to avoid flu medicine as too drowsy for my dd.

Yah, not just drowsy for mine, it makes them irritable too.

You can also cut big onion rings and leave it in the room of you want to go green.
