It has been a long & rewarding journey & I have indeed benefitted a lot from the wealth of information here & can really feel the warm encouragement from you guys here. Through the forum, we are comforted by the fact that we are not alone when we faced problems. My DD1 who had dsaed unsuccessfully for her dream school, was very disappointed but nevertheless,worked hard for her PSLE & got into her dream school on merit after reading some of the very encouraging posts here.

I was heart aching when i recieved by dd posting 261+3(hmt) she cant get in to nanyang girls her second choice . She was post to her 3rd choice school. Must be dragon year competiton stiff. My dd ask why she must born in the year of dragon…

Did you appeal to NYGH? It may have chance to go in by appeal as your DD only 1 mark lower than COP (265). -

Wow... What is her first choice? And yes, dragon year competition is VERY stiff. Many schools cutoff points increased. Hopefully 2013 cutoff point is lower :xedfingers:
