      ASLMUM:
      Hi fellow comrades,

Any suggestions on how to improve Chinese? I think due to poor foundation, my DD is issues recognising the chinese characters and their meanings. Stress!
      Hi. This may help:
For Comprehension in Chinese, first you have to read the passage, then read the questions.

Following that, you sort out that which one requires personal opinions and which ones don't.

Those that don't require personal opinions can be directly copied off the passage. Those who cannot, you have to let your DD comprehend themselves.

But this way is effective for me ๐Ÿ˜“

        Hi everyone,

When school reopens tomorrow, the reality that my son is in P6 will hit me...cannot siam anymore :lightrod:
However, I was also told that this 9 months will pass very fast...I definitely believe every week will pass by EVEN faster than last year.
These past few days, we have gone to the nearby malls (very unlike me)...told hubby I feel I'm going to be 'imprisoned' from 2moro onwards for 10 months.

DS teacher told him that when school reopen, he will use 1 month to finished all the P6 syllabus. After that will be revisions.

U mean the same teacher will be teaching them for 2 years?
We don't even know our teachers for next year yet. It's nerve-racking cos its such an important year...

yap, same teacher and same classmate for next year.

                  Funx3,

Thanks for your encouraging words. Jr is never stressed so I have to take double stress. Even if Jr doesn't do well, first thing is still play every single moment. Hope this will change this year. :xedfingers:
