Sorry for the confusion. I tried to get the numbers on the 2nd day of phase2A(2) to make a decision. It's over and I was just relating my experience

But yeah I did not receive any confirmation even though I assume my application was successful. Didn't even know I'm supposed to receive a letter?

No worries. Good to know the \"nightmare\", if any, is over for you \",)
Scary to go through balloting - i have a weak heart - i don't think i can take the stress
I guess for you now , your immediate action should be to check the mailbox (according to the address you listed on the green application form for 2A2 - which to many, is actually their home address :))
If you do not see any mail coming from Rulang, I suggest you call them now (before 2.30pm , before the next batch of Phase 2B applicants stream in).

I also applied under 2A2 but is in Shuqun. I was told the confirmation letter (1st page of the application form) will be sent out after 17 Jul and I also haven’t receive it.

Oh my good to know im not the only ones havent receive the confirmation letter from 2A2. I called the school they only says will receive these few days. Im just worried they may miss out my application.

No, not true.

No, not true.

BigDevil is right. Has to be original IC - you also need to give them photocopied ones - they will verify the photocopied version against the originals on registration day.

In the case of divorced couple, if the (registering) spouse cannot get hold of the other spouse's original IC, then a letter of consent from the (absent) spouse (or missing person report/ personal protection order) will be required, assuming the child is under joint-custody.

Why will GRL parents do it tomorrow?

Just a strategy as GRL parents can choose the schools to register in P2B.

I am registering my DD under P2B (SHHK) at Taonan. The school has scheduled our registration at 2.30pm - 4.30pm tomorrow. I don't know how many others have the same time slot. For PVs/SHHK members, it does not matter because we only have 1 school to apply to in phase 2B anyway . But if you are a GRL trying to strategize based on today's numbers, you may have a surprise coming :evil:.

But why do they want to do that? i mean if GRLs might just register and that will result in balloting. If they have known earlier, perhaps they can withdraw and register a school with lesser intake.? :scratchhead:

We did received our confirmation via mail for phase 2A2 registration for DD on Jul17 . I'm sure you will receive yours soon.
