heehee no problem at all. Mine is a mess but your answer explained very well.

DH is the one who coaches DD1 maths. Glad DD1 knows the answers. After all, she just attended a 4 days boot camp with DH. :rotflmao:

            hi, please help…3 questions.

1)Arrange 7 dots in such a way that you can draw straight lines through 6 sets of 3 dots.

            2) Mr Tang had 4 boxes filled with an equal number of chocolate bars in each one. He emptied them into a tray and added 2 more bars to them.
Later he filled up 2 of the same boxes, leaving 44 bars on the tray. How many chocolate bars did each box have.

            3) Colour exactly half the large square so that the coloured half is still a square.

For the second question my DS answer is

                44-2=42
                42/2=21-----which is 1 box.

Just give a rough pictures of the answers
                      1. 7 dots are on the equilateral triangle (3 at the vertices, 3 at the midpoints of the sides, 1 in the centre)
                      2. connect the midpoints of the sides of the square
                      http://i46.tinypic.com/iwohv6.jpg\">

                      Hope it helps
                      Cheers :celebrate:

                        Can provide workings?
The answer must be multiples of 5 & 9? I thought 60 is also a possible answer?
