Hi
I just called up Mighty Maths, and learnt that they teach students from all levels in one class with their customize one to one programs. Can any parent tell me if this works for your kids? If the tutor is teaching a kid while the rest is doing assessments, won’t it distract rest of the kids?
Thank you! -
Hi appleng,
I personally went down to one of their branch in Sengkang on tuesday. My gal went through their diagnostic assessment and we have Spoke to Ms stella who is the person in charge. Felt quite comfortable talking to her. She have also shown me some of their worksheets . Overall, The program seems interesting and challenging.
But one thing i may not feel so comfortable like what you mentioned, all classes of different level and age groups are combined into 2 classroom though there are about 3-4 teachers inside the room to coach the child individually. My gal personally don't really like the environment as she commented that it is quite noisy in the room while she is doing her assessment test. Though i did not get a chance to see their classroom but i managed to take a quick peek outside their room and the classroom inside seems quite organized. I will have to re-consider to place my gal there not because of the program but depends on my gal decision of where she
would prefer tomhave her lesson as i have also brought her to another
centre (not mighty maths). I do have a parent who has shared with me
her positive view of the program. I guess, it is still worth a try of the
program. I believe that the program must have its own value that
benefited quite a number of kids in their learning progress. Honestly, i
don't mind giving it a try but just that my gal don't like the environment!
So, i do not want to force her.

SengkangMum:
Thanks for your reply! I am keeping MM for consideration, and also looking at another home based tuition. If your gal is P3 next year, you can PM me if keen. So far we have two kids, and trying to get one more to start a new class on Sat morning 11.30am. The location is near Hougang central.Hi appleng,

Hi, my 1st post here… need some help from the fellow parents.
my boy didnt do well for his final math exam : (
any parents can feedback on Mighty Math classes at Tampines?
My colleagues’ kids did well in their yearend exam with them at Punggol side.
Are the teachers as good for their tampines branch?
Thanks! -
Hi,
Any feedback at hougang branch? It seems that lots of parents are talking about punggol, sengkang or tampines. -
My daughter is turning p1 and so far she can do her sums without using her fingers. Just want to share how mighty math helped her. -
Hi S@lly,
Which branch ur child studying? My friends was telling me don’t waste $ on migthy maths. They are more suitable for younger gtoip kids not primary level. So I am also caught in between. -
Im also looking for a math enrichment centre for my P3 girl next year and thinking of Mighty Maths in Sengkang. But now…looks like the comments are not really positive.

:? I hope you are wrong with the above assessment as I have jus signed up my DS yesterday. I think they are good with upper pri maths too.. I was waiting at their punggol center yeasterday and saw their STAR students, when my DS was doing his assignment test at punggol center. Two primary 3 boys have scored 100 marks for their final year exam.
The teacher told me that you can see some of their top scorer on their internet website

My DS is depending on them next year
