2011 PSLE results release

Maybe principals will know a day earlier so can prepare briefing slides for P6 kids and parents on the actual day? Or have to go school extra early that morning to see results and prepare slides within a short time?
Ya still has to wait for another 28 days.. I wonder do the schools get to know the results much earlier then 24/11.. :roll:SAHM_TAN:
Why does it take about a month to release the results when the teachers marked it in 4 days?
Is it possible to have more than 1 overall top student?

SAHM_TAN:
Maybe they got to key in the marks for those non OAS...eg compo for each student, then such data feed into some super computer to plot bell curve, adjust here adjust there, discuss and finalize, print results for each student, S1 form - match with DSA option form see which one no need go thru S1, determine which ones can take 3rd Lang, determine COP for EESIS, also prepare detailed analysis of each sch performance for the sch's reflection and improvement, prepare the trophies for top students - not sure if their names are engraved and if so, must send for engraving. Then finally announce on 24 Nov! :evil:Why does it take about a month to release the results when the teachers marked it in 4 days?

1 day not enuf to prepare a few slides??? :scratchhead: I thought slides are quite standardized - can use last year's, just change figures (and statistics are usually provided by MOE, right???
I was thinking an hour of preparation should do - principals should be very efficient!!! :rotflmao:

make sure camera battery is fully charged, or get a fresh set into the camera, make sure the SD card is emptied and be ready for the day
position yourself at the right spot to catch the candid moments when results are announced, photo with classmates, friends, and teachers, etc etc
it will be a memorable day for the album -

Got trophies one huh? Which schools would these be? I thought schools only find out early that morning when they send someone to MOE to collect the results. Then if there's a top scorer in their midst they'll call the student to prepare him for the deluge of press personnel at the school.
