          This question has been discussed before.

          I believe students are comfortable with working out the area of square when its diagonal is known.

          I’ll leave it to students to work out the calculations in details.

              I need help for the following question. Can somebody please help?


              I am thinking of a fraction. If I subtract 2 from the numerator, the fraction becomes 1/2. If I add 5 to the numerator, the fraction becomes 11/15. What is the fraction that I am thinking of?

                Hi i need help in the following questions. Thanks in advance.


                1. 1/4 of the marbles in a box are red and the rest are either blue or green. If there are 36 more blue than twice the number of green ones, how many more red marbles than green marbles a there?

                2. Marvin and Nick had some twenty-cent coins each. If Marvin gave 1/3 of his share to Nick, Nick would have 210 coins more than Marvin. If Marvin gave 1/4 of his share to Nick, the ratio of number of Marvin’s coins to the number of Nick’s coins would become 3:7. What is the difference between the sum of money that each of them had?

                3.If Bernerd sells a computer at a discount of 20% of the usual selling price, he will earn $45. If he sells the computer at a discount of 35% of the usual selling price he will lose $30.
                (a) Find the usual selling price of the computer
                (b) Find the cost price of the computer
