          pls help, thanks

          Pete had 3 boxes of marbles. He transferred 1/5 of the marbles from Box A to Box B. Then he transferred 1/4 of the marbles from Box B to Box C. Finally, he transferred 1/2 of the marbles from Box C to Box A. As a result, there were 134 marbles in Box A, 69 marbles in Box B and 50 marbles in Box C.
          What was the total number of marbles in Box A and Box C at first?

                    Edwin and George had a total of 330 stamps. Edwin had 20% more stamps than George. Edwin started by giving 30% of his stamps to George. Then, George in return gave 25% of his stamps to Edwin. How many more stamps must Edwin give to George so that they have the same number of stamps in the ant?

                        Hi,

                        a) Since every hour, they are 18+12=30 km closer, it will take 60/30=2h for them to meet each other.
                        Time--> 2 hours after 11am --> 1pm
                        b) Time taken for Mr Sim to reach Town A--> 60/18 = 3 1/3
                        Distance Mrs Leong has travelled--> 3 1/3 X 12 = 40km
                        Ans: 60 - 40 = 20 km

                        Cheers.
