Dovetail, at what age do you started them on these?

I think 7 or 8 if I remember correctly. You decide based on their motor skills, especially the folding clothes part. They usually find it a novelty helping at first. After sometime, you start to have to ask and ask :). But as long as they do when told to, that's a bonus. Also there's no need to give hints that something needs to be done, just ask them to do. I remember putting a whole basket of folded clothes for my boy to bring upstairs by putting at the middle landing of the stairs. Thought he should know what to do but he just walk past it the whole day without doing anything. :slapshead:

i am using the electrolux tall cordless vaccum cleaner. cost 289 cos its lithium battery, ie u can charge without waiting for batt to be flat first. there is a cheaper model is normal batt, 168 i think. my girl can use it to vacuum.

there is a handheld vac inside the tall stand to take it out separately to vac.
i use newlife floor detergent. very clean.
i use bona spray mop. very easy to mop flr. kids can do it too. no pail needed cos it has a container for detergent. and the mop is easy to use any time without hvg to mix detergent or pour away water.
go bona.com.sg to chk. sold at ntuc nex and selfix Nex
thanks! will get hubby to take a look...

                      Hi mummy blessed777,

we have been using Techno Gas for the pass 7 years, model T638TG. So far so good, except for the spark ignition, not working a few months back. It not did work even after we changed the battery. Probably due to corrosion around the battery contacts. Now we are using a hand held spark ignite "gun", not sure if that is what it is called though. The rest of it is still in working condition. We got it from Ho Kee. Cannot recall the price…hm…

Thanks Bungii. I think its a common problem that after sometime the spark ignition wont work anymore, i experienced my current n previous one.
