Club SAHM
-
Welcome to our club, stayhomedadof2! I salute you cos it takes alot of courage to be a SAHD as our asian society would expect the men to be the breadwinner and the women to be the nurturer and homemaker. But I feel that both SAHM and SAHD should be given equal recognition and appreciation cos it’s never easy to give up one’s career for the sake of family, especially for the guys.

Hi stayhomedadof2,
I also salute you !!
Like what Angelight mentioned its not easy being a SAHD and from what you have posted, I gathered you have done a good job.
Your kids are blessed with a good daddy.
Also, I think your wife is a very strong and outstanding lady. I think it takes a lot of courage from both of u to agree to this arrangement.
Both of you are outstanding parents who did this all for the sake of your kids. Well done !! -

Thank you very much Mychildren, that brought a smile to my face and in my heart...
It's not easy to be a SAHdad...takes lots of courage to do so.
I am sure you have a close bond with the kids. Whether it is the woman or the man who is a full time parent, it sure takes lots of compromise and sacrifices.
Be proud of yourself at all times. Do not allow anyone to dampen your decision. -
Any SAHMs here having children doing PSLE next year without tuition or enrichment?
-
Dunno where to ask but reckon this is a possible channel - is there any quick way to mesh up hard boiled egg? I like egg mayo sandwiches but find the prep work too time consuming, particularly the meshing up of eggs. Any tips?

You can use a potato masher. If not, how about a fork?

will u be the first one? :rahrah: -
Ok, brainstorming here. How about an electric chopper? Blender? Or use a normal knife to chop it into small pieces, a la Martin Yan?

Then I must buy a potato masher.... I am using a fork now lor. But it takes around 20min to mash four eggs. So I think I must be quite inefficient. Hence Asking around, maybe you folks have some great idea which I have not thought off.
