Actually when I am sick, I just do a simple lunch and no housework. Dh will dabao dinner home. Ds1 can make simple sandwiches for himself and ds2 and do his own homework. Ds2 can shower himself and change himself. No need to piah everyday.

As long as the windows are properly secured and they know home safety rules, ( and easy access to food and water), kids can manage pretty well even if mum is down for the day.

A few times when I was very sick and had to see doc, he asked if I needed MC. What is it with these men ? When they are sick, they behave like babies.

When we are sick, still have to eat medicine and work as per normal

I think depends on kids age.

With a p1 and p5, I can switch off when I am sick. Can send elder to buy dinner too. Husband will take leave or leave office early if need be like if I am so sick that couldn't get out of bed like fever.
            Life is good! πŸ™‚

Wanted to do the same for kids but decided to do another day. No point getting myself tired doing all on one day.

Can SAHM have annual leave from DH too? Like say 15 days of no work?

                    Dream on.

To make a long story short, I am having cold war with that idiotic husband.
I wanted so much to walk out to let him manage everything at home.

Sahms, recently my husband asked me \"Actually, what do you do all day?\" That question really annoyed me. What's a good reply?

Sometimes I ask DH that. πŸ˜‚ Ds2 said he bets dh naps in his office. :rotflmao:
