Same same. But sometimes, when I see the way dh spurlges on his golf, I feel a little imbalance why am I so hard on myself

  understand, understand.....My DH spurlges on plants. I look at this way. He's working hard to earn money for the family, (of course we also work hard for the family), so as long as he control his spending, I will let him have his de-stresser.

Agree.. :hi5:

Me oso same-same.. :celebrate:

Mine on cameras and the many accessories.
I just support. Better to see what they spend on
isn't it... ? Rather than not being able to see or know
what they \"spend on...\" :spank:
True, true :hi5:

Hi sahm mummies,

my DH splurge on remote control planes. I try to keep quiet abt it but if he spent too much then I will remind him gently not to buy anymore.
Sometimes they can go overboard.

Hi!

My DH doesn’know how to manage money. He wants to save more money, but doesn’t know how to spend money. If I asked him to buy something he buy an super duper expensive one.So I planned, first save some money then I see which we need and which we want to buy.Seconly, spend for that we need.Lastly buy that we want if we have. Now we are not like that.We lose a lot. After all I don’t know how to.We spend money from saving.First 5 years we save now we spend.Hopefully we will save in future.

Hi Stay at home moms!

I know how busy you all are,but my kind opinion that we have to keep good looking also.I heard so many insidents that the children grown up teen then the DH find another woman.Be careful. When I heard this I so shocked.DHs never sacrifice for family they need their pleasure only. All the poor wifes said that they beleived their husband couldn’t betray them.Men so selfish! So we have to play so many role (responsibilities) as a good mother, wife, friend, maid, money saver, etc.

We work hard in different ways...maybe not bringing home money but keeping the family intact so as to give them the peace of mind in the office. We all need some form of pampering to spur ourselves on...keep relationship going.
A lot of times, we often neglect our other halves because of the children and the crazy education system which zaps up a lot of energy. Recently, hubby has transferred to another dept where he has to go to the office everyday, I miss those days when he works from home...we went to IMM for coffee or ice kachang - just 2 of us.
So sweet

Phew, my DH is a saver. Guess being eldest and from poor family background has trained him up. But I do pity him as he tends to be too frugal on himself. So will kinda let him spend if he wants as dun have to worry that he splurge. Also, if ever that happens and he becomes vain, can catch easily

Remote control planes? That's an interesting hobby. 😄

Fully agree. SAHMs work hard too just in a different way. In fact I find that I have less time to chill out after becoming SAHM. Last time working still can take leave n go jalan jalan n sick still can take MC n sleep at home. Now no longer can. Now it's 24/7.

SAHMs fulfill an important role at home (like Janet says) to give the husband peace of mind at work knowing that the kids are in gd hands. So let's not neglect ourselves while we take care of the family!

:goodpost: We must take care of our looks including family and the house. Before going out, put in some effort to look different. Even if our men don't say anything, they will notice...of course won't look as nice as the women colleagues in the office, but at least presentable.
