We work hard in different ways...maybe not bringing home money but keeping the family intact so as to give them the peace of mind in the office. We all need some form of pampering to spur ourselves on.

SAHMs fulfill an important role at home (like Janet says) to give the husband peace of mind at work knowing that the kids are in gd hands. So let's not neglect ourselves while we take care of the family!

:goodpost: We must take care of our looks including family and the house. Before going out, put in some effort to look different. Even if our men don't say anything, they will notice...of course won't look as nice as the women colleagues in the office, but at least presentable.

My DH gives me a monthly allowance to pay bills, kids' school fees and stuff. For myself, I hardly buy anything for myself because once I have kids, I seem to be only shopping for them.

I thought, it's the norm that DH will give allowance once become a SAHM?
