Ya I know but it's convenient for my mil to fetch my girl lah. I dun mind neighbourhood sch, it's for convenience sake that I choose this sch, suay suay it's a popular sch!!! Bo bian lah, just bite the bullet & hope 2 ballots will give better chance.

We are worried that the holding site would be far from the exisiting one. My child will be starting her Pri 1 in 2012... wonder if she would be spending most of her years in pri school education at the holding site.:(

If MOE requires all school to be in single session by 2017, they should be at a holding site latest by 2014 as most schools take around 2 years to upgrade, which means by Pri 6, your child should be back in the new school. Most prob, your child will spend Pri 3-4 at the holding site. You can call and check with the school.

while most schools would choose the upgrading path, some may choose to gradually reduce the number of intake over the next few years.
