MummySTay:
IPs use a lot of notes and worksheets to teach. Books are mainly for reference. But some textbooks are for Year1-2. Year 2 booklist spending may be minimal.
:yikes: About $300 for books alone? Wow!Ms tay:
For RI sec one books alone abt 290+ (excluding pe attire and jersey)
Those who had made the reservesion for sec one books can collect them
On 22nd dec @ blk B . They accept nets/credit cards or cash
Does the school use the books in the first place? -

But whether IP uses a lot of notes and worksheets to teach depends on the school. For our school, we don't get many. -
Monica Yeoh:
Thanks. Called today, they mentioned it is up to student's discretion, primary or secondary uniform also can : )Ms tay:
[quote=\"Monica Yeoh\"]Anyone can share whether should wear primary or new secondary school uniform when going for scholarship presentation in Jan 2012 ?
I think both r acceptable as long as u wear ur uniform or u may call the cc during the office hr if u worry . The contact has stated in the letter .
Received the EAGLE award as well, just mention to collect from school, so I just confirmed today that it is from primary school : )

MummySTay:
I kiasu, went to school to buy Sec 1 schoolbooks already. I didn't buy Chinese books (bc I'm not sure whether HCL or CL). And I didn't buy D&T bc I think my boy won't be taking. Spent S$199, including school tie, 2 badges, 6 pairs of socks. *hehe*.
