btw, one of my fren's son obtain high 26x & accepted HCI DSA but has appealed to RI. Still no news yet...will keep you guys posted once there is any news.

I know that this morning, RI accepted some students with 261, with no COs from other schools.
Yes, do let us know the outcome.

:thankyou: forgot to teach my ds how to take public transport home.MandyMummy:
Just wondering, besides all the textbooks and stationery, are there anything else to get ready for sec1. About 1.5 weeks to school opening....
1. How to go to and from school by public transport. *very important.
Kiasu vlim already taught her DS how to take public transport home and I am still procrastinating! :spank:
2. Sewing name tag onto back of school tie. Need? :scratchhead:
3. Contacts of parents in same school/class so can take turns to spy on the kids. Hehehe...
4. Extra alarm clock. Train DS/DD to wake up on their own! So dear Mummy can wake up later!
Will add on when I can think of more!
Aiya, should have shown him the bus stop yesterday. -
MandyMummy:
It is my pleasure. :hugs:

Am glad that my nonsensical rambling is of help.

Don't pai seh. In fact most welcome :rahrah:Hi dear all, I m new to this forum....Notice alot of discussions in this thread about RI, ACSi & NJC...not so much on HCI, thats why pei sei to join in... :censored: :yikes: :siam:
Pen88n, is your DS going HCI?
For us with younger DS, HCI is a top IP but we don't seem to know much about it. So please do come and share too. On the other hand, due to the chatty  (and super humorous) RI parents, we have gained so much knowledge down to Bishan Gay, which bus stop to alight, which place to pick up, how many classes, how to treat dirty camp clothes etc. Haha

We'll be having a Christmas gathering tomorrow...
so I went to get some fruits earlier.
And I came across something new...new to me, at least...
Grapple! Crunches like an apple; tastes like a grape!
Cool, yeah?

Just like pluot, plum combined with apricot.
Safe to eat, right? Cos I bought some. Haven't tried yet. -

Hi finally I found this page.
Will make use of the long weekend to browse thru all the pages. -
jtoh:
Look like yellow plums. Pretty big too, slightly smaller than an orange.
I haven't come across pluots before. What do they look like?
Saw them at Cold Storage just last month.
The taste was a little disappointing, considering the rave review I read about it in an article. The taste favours plum, whereas I prefer apricots. Maybe plum lovers would like it more.
