Mid year means the combined overall from ca1 and this mid yr exam for p6. If the mid year results are not ready for dsa, u can apply dsa first and email the result later. We actually waited for the mid year result to be out first before apply online for the dsa.

This is new. Don't rem I need to submit the p5 mid year. Agree with u, it is confusing as mid year - ca1 or ca2? Maybe call up the sch to ask.

Hi Herbie, I should think the mid-year results for P5 would refer to the CA1 (First Combined), since it is dated May.

Isn’t CA1 the one taken in May, CA2 in Term 3 and SA at end of year? So mid year is CA1.

                    Dear all,

I took a look at my DS P5 Mid Year result slip… It only shows marks under CA1. It’s blank for SA1. Then followed by First Combined. The marks is exactly the same as CA1. So if need to use p5 mid year, it’s CA1 result.

For p5, there are result for CA1, CA2, SA and overall percentage.

CA2 looks more like the mid year result, isn’t it?

Mid-year refers to the papers taken in May. CA1 was taken in May. So CA1 is mid-years.
