Thought they supposed to follow everything up to the pace?
Anyway, for CHS this week they went on GEP Camp... Mon to Wed.. only Thur start back the class...

Wow! what camp is that ? could be diff timing. Mine went to visit tea house, appreciate drinking Chinese tea. After that he said he likes green tea, he drank 10 over cups there. :rotflmao:

It's camp to get those GEP students to bond together... from P4 to P6...
My DS never join... still not confident enough to be away from us... 😢

Good for you DS to like the Chinese Tea and Green Tea... my DS and DD don't even want to drink those normal tea.. only want Pokka Green Tea... not even other brand (Yeos, etc)...

Er... green tea got caffeine or not? 10 cups !!!

Chinese tea set uses those small tiny tea cups. That's why his small tummy could take 10 over cups. 😉 This is just for appreciation to promote Chinese culture, at least when he becomes adult he may pick up drinking green tea which is good for health.

Ha ha! Better than coffee! Do you believe I still have not tried coffee?! That's because I was told as a kid that kids should not drink coffee. To this day, I still have not 'grown up' to drink it. Blessing, I guess. Habits from young are so important.

Side track a bit. Most of us begin drinking coffee when we become adult, may be in uni or when we came out to work. One cup a day fill your life and makes no harm. What about coca cola ? You never drink coca cola meh ? I have seen P6 student drink coffee or tea, now in RI.

I don't mean they are bad, just that habits taught when we are young do stick with us. And, I know I am unusual, I have only met one other person who has not drank coffee all his life, and he is 21. And, drinking coffee or coca cola does not make a person stupid as well. If you like coffee, drink to your heart's content! Its better to be happy then to have to worry about the consequence of a cup here and there! To each his own la! Even DS1 drinks coffee, and that's ok as long as he can sleep at night. And, hee hee, he was an RI student, and so was I. 😄 So I guess coffee does not make a difference which school you will end up?

I recall some old research that said caffeine for young kids is a no-no cos it stunts growth.

ha ha... no thanks. I'd rather cook rice in my steel pot and not use aluminium. It was also shown that eating food cooked in aluminium utensils does aggravate the problem. I quite like the uniqueness of not having drank coffee.. I would like to live to tell my great-grandchildren about it. Fun mah...
