      GA1

      My child mentioned :
      57 qns.

      His exact comments were:
“Had a bit time to check - challenging and fun. “

Yeah I heard it was 40 questions for part 1 and 17 questions for part 2. Total 57.

Congratulations, his comments are positive! 😆

      Thanks.
      He seemed fine.
(Playing Nintendo now before dinner. )

Actually, I wanted to say : time management is hugely important.
      1hr20mins for 57 qns.

Less than 1.5 min per qns ![/quote]I agree. Time management is thr key. GEP syllabus can be hectic with lots projects. If the kids do work too slow might not survive well..maybe this is one of the test...😅 Speed....

Ah I see thank you...i initially felt a tad bad for giving her the wrong info. Anyway it's ok as she did not even remember if she answered Eng or Math-based GA questions! All the best to everyone going for the paper tomorrow.
No problem. 😊 I think the best part of this whole testing exercise is to hear from our kids after, that they enjoyed attempting the variously types of questions and were challenged in a positive way. After all, this is truly a once in a lifetime experience for these 8.5 or 9 year olds. And after tomorrow's session, their year end holidays can finally begin 🥳

My girl said she found GA easy but Eng hard. 😂 she didn’t finish GA last question though. She knew the answer and was about to write it but teacher said “times up” so she froze instead of just taking 1 sec to finish it. Faint.

had a quick call home to check - seemed like math was tough.

"Barely had enough time to for the questions. no time left to check "

Fingers crossed… sounds hard according to my kid, at least she tried her best, that is the most important.
